Once there lived a girl who was
thirteen years old. Her name was Rachelle. She had lost both her parents when
she was three. So she was brought up by her aunt. Her aunt was kind to her but
her two daughters were jealous of Rachelle as she was good looking and was very
intelligent. When her aunt used to go out somewhere Rachelle's two cousins used
to tease her and made her do all the work of the house. One day when her aunt
went on a holiday they were left alone at home. So the two daughters were very
happy that they could do whatever they wished to with Rachelle. One day she
could not stand the insults any more, so she ran away. After some days when her
aunt came back and could not find Rachelle, she asked her daughters where she
was. They said that she left the house and ran away. The next morning they went
out to find her. Rachelle was wandering in the woods, so they were unable to find
her.
After a month, some people came to her aunt and told that they saw her
wandering in the woods. After searching
for three to four hours in the woods, they finally found her, and then her aunt
asked her the reason why she left home and ran away. Then Rachelle told that
the two sisters teased her and made her do all the work of the house. After
that the two sisters realized their mistakes and Rachelle forgave them. And
they lived happily forever.
